Five Days in Montreal: Icons, Museums & Neighborhoods

Five days is enough to see Montreal's icons and still explore the neighborhoods locals love. The first three days mirror a strong long-weekend plan: the Old Port, the Space for Life museums, and the creative Plateau. Days four and five then reach up to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, McGill, and Mount Royal, and out to the Bell Centre and the island parks of Parc Jean-Drapeau. Along the way you'll sample smoked meat, poutine, fresh bagels, and celebrated neighborhood restaurants. Each day stays geographically focused to limit transit time, and the variety, museums, parks, architecture, sports, and food, captures the full breadth of the city.
