Seven Days in Halifax: The Complete City Itinerary
A full week lets you experience Halifax the way locals do, blending marquee sights with slower neighbourhood days. The first five days cover the downtown waterfront, the harbour museums, the creative North End, the South End and Point Pleasant Park, and Dartmouth across the harbour. Days six and seven then reach the granite shores of Peggy's Cove, the historic Privateers' Wharf, Alexander Keith's brewery, and a farewell along the boardwalk. You'll eat across the city's signature traditions, donair, lobster rolls, seafood chowder, and Digby scallops, and see its history, forts, and green spaces. Each day stays geographically tight, so a week feels immersive rather than exhausting.
