One Perfect Day in Calgary: Downtown & the Bow River
With only one day, stay in the walkable core between downtown and the Bow River. Start along the water at the Peace Bridge and Prince's Island Park, then dive into Studio Bell before the afternoon crowds. A midday walk down Stephen Avenue and into the Central Library is the single best way to understand Calgary's mix of frontier sandstone and bold modern design. Cap the day with skyline and mountain views from the Calgary Tower's glass floor and a proper Alberta beef dinner. Studio Bell, National Music Centre
