Seven Days in Calgary: The Complete City Itinerary

A full week lets you experience Calgary the way residents do, blending marquee sights with slower neighbourhood days. The first five days cover the downtown core, the East Village museums and zoo, historic Inglewood, the Kensington and northwest parks, and the Olympic legacy of the west. Days six and seven then reach Heritage Park and the Mission dining scene, the food and history of Chinatown, the Central Library, and the riverside island parks. You'll eat across the city's signature traditions, Alberta steak, ginger beef, bison, and a Calgary-born Caesar, and see its art, architecture, and green spaces. Each day stays geographically tight, so a week feels immersive rather than exhausting.
