📍 Marin Headlands
Golden Gate Bridge from Battery Spencer
◷ Sunrise
The classic San Francisco postcard: the full span of the Golden Gate Bridge with the city rising behind it. This former gun battery sits high on the north side, putting you almost level with the towers. Fog rolling through the gate makes every frame different.
Where to shoot: Walk out to the crumbling concrete of Battery Spencer and shoot southeast down the length of the bridge toward the skyline.
Pro tip: Use a 24 to 70mm and expose for the sky, then wait for a low fog bank to sweep the deck so the towers float above it.
